Started when an unofficial subreddit r/ARK posted multiple attempts of trying to coordinate people for r/Place, but all attempts are failed until Dollie, the Product Manager from Studio Wildcard, made an announcement in ARK's Official Discord and made the Discord Server as the "Main Base" during the entire event and gained assistance from Spanish ARK Communities like ARKadia and ARKeanos lead by a streamers named NexxuzHD and Mayichi

the rest is mostly community driven with a slight sense of roleplay as people use in-game terminologies as ''"FOB up!"'', ''"Protect the Obelisks"'', and ''"Got Wiped!"'' in the discord chat while placing pixels in r/Place

Made in the middle of the 3rd expansion, ARK's Official Discord decided to make a small pixel version of the game's logo due to being a small game community and easily got wiped in multiple occasions

The Gems represent an in-game structure known as an "Obelisk" a vital structure that is worth defending against other players/rival tribes

A minor piece made by NeoVanilluxe representing a piece of ARK's hidden lore belong to one of Earth's warring factions before the Bio-metal known as Element that used to make advanced technologies called "Tek" corrupts the Earth and made a Ship to send the remaining human population (along with some experiments) into space via the Genesis Ship if the ARKs failed in reseed the Earth and get rid of corruption

The Logo placed under the ARK Logo while both placed inside r/Germany's Banner, defended from both r/Mexico and r/Germany until both Logos got wiped and the idea of bringing it back has been scrapped

the ARK community joined r/Place during the 3rd canvass expansion, placed above r/Belgium's Atomium until got wiped by the Belgians and the Luxembourg Flag Heart took its place

moved to a different location within r/Germany's Banner next to Sally Carrera from Pixar's Cars with "The Terran Federation" logo until got wiped by the Germans

moved to a different location near r/Turkey's Barış Peace sign until gets eaten by the Void

moved to a different location near ARKadia's logo, ARK's Spanish Community where the spot is originally owned by MSI fan community that is contested by multiple factions until ARK allies up with "the Frog People" by preserving the Pixel Frog locally called as the "ARK Froggy" until it got wiped by other members of ARK's community outside of the Official Discord, scrapping the idea adding other tames like the Dodo, leaving a yellow border instead
