Red Pixel is a French-speaking community of left-wing activists, which operated during the r/place edition of 2023.

It was founded on July 21, 2023, one day after the start of the edition, by members of the MJCF, the French Young Communist Movement. Not having enough to defend their artworks on the canva, they decided to create a Discord open to all left-wing supporters taking a stand against the extreme right. They were joined by other political groups and supported by Twitter content creators such as Damien Rien, a parody account mocking far-right activists.

The community's main actions were to draw hammer-sickles across the canva, like the anarchist-communist flag. It also participated in the creation of a portrait of Karl Marx. The other task of the community members was to remove drawings of facist-supported communities, such as the Napoleon flag or the "tribute" to Lola.
