One of the first-minute submissions to the place subreddit was by the user Burning_Sulphur. They stated that they were going to make a fish. The design they shared was a very simple fish that was only made of 7 pixels. The simplicity of this cute fish and the fact that most people try to do massive projects inspired many to want to help protect this fish at all costs. This quickly lead to the formation of the r/place fish cult. Which went on to make fishes in all areas of the canvas. | |||
