The other artworks in the collage were: the [[Royal Palace of Amsterdam]], [[Cube Houses]], and the [[Mauritshuis]]. The artwork was completed around 13:30 GMT on July 24th on the [[Flag of The Netherlands]], but without the cross on its roof which was added 2 hours later. The pixel art remained until the [[The_Great_Whiteout|Great Whiteout]].<br /> <br /> ==History==<br /> The church tower is considered the symbol of Utrecht. The tower was part of St. Martin&#039;s Cathedral and was built between 1321 and 1382, to a Gothic design by John of Hainaut. The cathedral was never fully completed due to lack of money. Since the unfinished nave collapsed in 1674, the Dom tower has been a freestanding tower. The tower stands at the spot where the city of Utrecht originated almost 2000 years ago.<br /> <br /> &lt;references /&gt;</div>
