The Moon Lord was added to [[Canvas Expansions|the second canvas area]] on the second day by [[Sodapoppin]].

===Conflict===
The Moon Lord was, remarkably, never directly attacked by any [[:Category:Streamer Communities|streamers]] or [[The Void]]. It lasted mostly untouched for the entirety of r/place 2022, though it was griefed to hold baguettes in both of the Moon Lord's hands on the third day. There was also a minor invasion from a community trying to build [[BoJack Horseman]] on top of the right elbow.

===Final Result===
The Moon Lord remained intact until [[The Great Whiteout]].

==Background Info==

In Terraria bunnies are harmless creatures that can be caught with a bug net and do not interact with the player in any way, they typically serve as ambient entities, but a golden version of the bunny has a 1/400 chance of spawning, and can be sold for 10 gold.

==Creation==
Originally the Terraria community set out to create a single regular bunny (The one which has now turned golden) on the Terraria Discord server, during creation to speed up the progress they asked the [[Kurzgesagt]] community for help, which they graciously offered.

===Evolution===
In the early construction of the bunny there was a green background around it to differentiate the colors around it, but it was quickly changed to an orange one for the Netherlands. After this a 2nd bunny was created to fill up space, and then came smaller baby bunnies (Which aren't in the game) and flowers.

===Final Result===
Thankfully this art piece remained intact until [[The Great Whiteout]].

In 2017 the Terraria community, presumably from Reddit was able to create a bunny on the canvas. After this bunny was made on the Rainbow road there was a Microsoft Logo put on it but not much else was done to it.

The Terraria community wanted to leave their mark on r/place to show their appreciation to the community and game, and thanks to Sodapoppin on twitch and good coordination from the Terraria discord and subreddit they were very prevalent in r/place 2022.

== Canvas Art==
The Terraria community has placed many art pieces onto the canvas, including the [[Moon Lord]], a [[Terraria Tree]], [[Terraria Bunnies]], a [[Terraria Guide]], and some [[Terraria Pixel Art]], which contains a [[Meowmere]] and a [[Demon eye]].

==Communications==
Communicating with other communities was a decent struggle being forced to use Reddit and or Discord to talk to members from other communities.

===Allies===
The Terraria community had a couple good encounters with other communities like the [[Kurzgesagt]] community, they were able to ask them for help creating one of the Terraria bunnies and they happily agreed, it was completed far faster than it would've been normally. They were also in communications with the people responsible for the [[Dogecoin]] art on the bottom left of the Moon Lord, and some of the state logos to the right of the Moon Lord.

===Small Attack===
Unfortunately due to poor communication through Reddit, People defending the [[Moon Lord]] were not able to come to an agreement with the people working on creating [[BoJack Horseman]] taking up area on the right elbow of the [[Moon Lord]], but the invaders left us alone once the canvas expanded for the 2nd time.

The Demon eye is a common enemy in [[Terraria]] that appears in most surface biomes during the night. It has a slow turn rate, follows the player, and bounces off blocks, it's trajectory is changed when hit with a weapon that causes knockback.

===Creation===
The Demon eye was created along with the [[Terraria Pixel Art]] to fill up empty space. People on the live stream were thinking about taking more space above the pixel art to create an Eye of Cthulhu instead, but it never happened.

===Final Result===
Just like the entire pixel art, the Demon eye remained intact until [[The Great Whiteout]].

We wanted to leave our mark on r/place to show our appreciation to this amazing community and game and we definitely accomplished that, Thanks to Sodapoppin on twitch and good coordination from the Terraria discord and subreddit we had art on the canvas I never would've even imagined was possible from when we started off with just a couple of bunnies at the top of the screen.

(I moved his webcam closer so it's not as big an image)|right]]Right after the first expansion of the canvas the Terraria discord exploded and was busy trying to get something made on the canvas, a blueprint was made by user loarado#0212 and they got to work creating the tree.

The tree's stump was about finished and we were working on branches when we realized that randoms on reddit were extending the trunk of the tree far beyond where it was meant to go.

The part of the Terraria discord server working on r/place was quite small compared to the hivemind that was continuing the branches and trunk on and onto the top of the canvas.

When it was posted onto Reddit a couple of people from r/PlaceTrees said they were going to help with the tree so it might have been people from that subreddit continuing the tree.

Around the same time the tree was being constructed the Moon Lord was also being built so many Terrarians were using their pixels on the Moon Lord instead of controlling the tree.

In the end the tree ended up becoming a forest with ~3 trees, many hearts on and around it, Homer Simpson, and a sleeping Kirby. People coordinating on the terraria discord server did manage to get a Life Fruit on the tree.

After the tree was completely built it was caught in a purple voiding chain directed by XQC, he told his chat to turn the tree of life into the "Tree of death" during stream and with the purple color invading all of the hearts it quite literally got corrupted similar to the game.

After the reconstruction of the tree people who were looking for new spots to place artwork saw the tree as an easy are to place them in with the little defense we had, due to this the tree slowly got built over by other art and disappeared from the canvas, with this starting from a rushed blueprint sent to a discord server the art piece stayed there for an impressively long amount of time.
